Module eSports's CS:GO team has become the first roster to reach an amateur final of a Counter-Strike tournament, as they beat Scorpius eSports 2-0 in the Onsight League play-off final.
1NS4NITY's team took the first map in the Best-of-3 match-up, as they won 16-5 on Cache (12-3 half-time lead). Map two was a closer meeting on Nuke, with Module surviving a second-half Scorpius comeback to win 16-14 (11-4 half-time lead). MDL are guaranteed a spot in the final, where they will face either Rygen, Cosconia, OR a chance to reface Scorpius. The final will be played around the end of March. Meanwhile, our Call of Duty WW2 console roster have announced they will back down from playing due to exams. Thanks for their efforts in the MLG Ladder and good luck! Call of Duty returns to the Module eSports banner, as a new CODWWII teams joins us, replacing our former French team.
British players DDistasteful, PPlugg and M4X167 become Module's newest recruits, looking to bring more success to the team. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege will also be seen under the Module name, as British players Aykay and iTzHarry join up with us. Finally, regarding the CSGO roster, we have picked up Xies who becomes the team coach. Module's new look Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster looks to be completed, as our previous roster move on. Former TeamNØRTHSquad player Veri will captain a side with former teammates Vizion, Kojo and Solar, while Dxy completes the line-up.
Veri, of the Netherlands, was a former player at Natural Born Fraggers and BeYonD. Kojo become's Module's first Romanian representative and links up with his former NORTH teammates. Vizion and Dxy both played together at Awake.GG. The Frenchman has previously played under Poseidon, Devil Rejects and Awake.GG, while the British player also featured for Gold and Strife. Dutch player Solar rejoins Module after a previous stint earlier this year. He previously featured for NightHawk and Cryogenic Academy. Welcome to all of the players, who will represent Module in the semi-finals of the Onsight Invitational League this weekend. They face Rygen eSports. Module eSports have been working towards rosters in new games, with a series of players setting up Overwatch, Fortnite and Heroes Of The Storm teams.
